Basketball Recap: New Rockford-Sheyenne Takes a Loss

New Rockford-Sheyenne was the 44-32 winner over Griggs County Central/Midkota when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets took a 57-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Griggs County Central/Midkota Cougars. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Rockford-Sheyenne's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Griggs County Central/Midkota, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-8.

New Rockford-Sheyenne has already played their next game (against Hatton/Northwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Griggs County Central/Midkota will face off against Maple River at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
