Football Recap: Bainbridge Comes Up Short on the Road Against Anacortes

Bainbridge had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 55-7 loss at the hands of the Anacortes Seahawks on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Seahawks are ranked seventh).

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bainbridge will square off against Tumwater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Anacortes, they will take on Sehome at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Seahawks their first taste of in-conference action this season.
