Basketball Preview: West Florida Jaguars vs. Pace Patriots        
        
		
             Having just played yesterday, the West Florida Jaguars will get right back to it and host the Pace Patriots  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hopefully West Florida focused on turnovers this week  as the team gave up 19 on Monday.
 West Florida is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have all season. They took  a  54-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Choctawhatchee. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost nine in a row.
 Despite their  defeat, West Florida saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Kamora Harris, who  went 8 for 12 en route to 16 points, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of  Keyarsten Lewis, who  went 5 for 10 en route to 10 points plus six  rebounds and four  steals.
 Even though they lost, West Florida  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 16  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in four consecutive  contests.
 Meanwhile, Pace beat Milton 40-33  on Tuesday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Patriots.
 West Florida's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Pace, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
 West Florida might still be hurting after the  60-40 defeat they got from Pace  when the teams last played  back in December of 2023. Can West Florida avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
