Baseball Recap: Covenant Classical Gets the Win

Grace Prep typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Covenant Classical proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 9-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cavaliers.

Covenant Classical let Rhodes Long and Isaac Crawford run wild. Long went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Crawford went 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Long has posted since back in February. Hudson Williams was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Covenant Classical now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Grace Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 22-6-1.

Covenant Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grace Prep, they will challenge Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
