Basketball Recap: Webster Thomas' Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Webster Thomas entered their game against Rush-Henrietta on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Webster Thomas Titans fell 59-52 to the Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 66-54 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

It was another big night for Avery Council, who went 12 of 15 en route to 29 points and seven boards for Rush-Henrietta. Jalen Taggart was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals.

Webster Thomas' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3. As for Rush-Henrietta, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Victor the next time they take the court. Webster Thomas will head out to face Victor on Saturday, while Rush-Henrietta will host them at 7:15 p.m. on January 24th.
