Basketball Recap: Santiam Comes Up Short

Santiam lost against Monroe back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Santiam Wolverines took a 51-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monroe Dragons.

Santiam dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Monroe, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santiam will challenge Chemawa Indian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Monroe will take on Oakland in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on December 17th at.
