Softball Recap: Brighton Comes Up Short

Brighton made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Fairport, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bruins fell just short of the Red Raiders by a score of 8-6 on Friday. The Bruins just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Brighton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Fairport, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

Coming up, Brighton will venture away from home to challenge Churchville-Chili at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairport, they will square off against Greece Storm at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
