Basketball Game Preview: Bennett Clippers vs. Snow Hill Eagles

The Bennett Clippers will face off against the Snow Hill Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bennett knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Snow Hill likes a good challenge.

Bennett fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Parkside on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 64-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. While the Clippers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rams 22-14 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Snow Hill, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They secured a 53-49 W over Mardela on Thursday.

Snow Hill pushed their record up to 5-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Bennett, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Bennett beat Snow Hill 58-47 in their previous matchup back in January of 2025. Will the Clippers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
