Soccer Recap: Comstock Comes Up Short

Comstock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cassopolis Rangers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Comstock's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-2. As for Cassopolis, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Comstock will face off against Bronson at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cassopolis, they will challenge Michigan Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
