Volleyball Recap: T.W. Andrews Takes a Loss

T.W. Andrews lost against Central Davidson back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Raiders came up short against the Spartans, falling 3-0. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

T.W. Andrews was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Addison Hayes, who had ten digs and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high. Cayman James was another key player, getting 13 digs.

T.W. Andrews' defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Central Davidson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

T.W. Andrews has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Montgomery Central on the 7th. As for Central Davidson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Wheatmore on the 6th.
