Basketball Game Preview: Dora Coyotes vs. Eunice Cardinals

Dora is 1-7 against Eunice since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Dora Coyotes will challenge the Eunice Cardinals at 2:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dora is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since February 13, 2024 on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Lake Arthur a 2-0 shutout. The two-point effort marked the Coyotes' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Eunice got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They enjoyed a cozy 67-52 win over Tatum on Thursday.

Dora's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11. As for Eunice, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.

Dora came up short against Eunice in their previous meeting back in January, falling 48-37. Can Dora avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
