League recap: Roybal stuns Torres in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Torres, who took down 855th ranked Torres, 15-14.

Roybal moved up to 922 from 971 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Central. The Titans climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Toros 15-14.

Hollywood's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Erick Villar threw for 92 and two touchdowns and Sam Morales had 78 yards receiving. On the ground Ronald Clayton chipped in 211 yards. Jeffrey Puebla helped Hollywood's passing attack out by catching one ball for eight yards.

Hollywood's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Sheiks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Villar has thrown for 770 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Morales has 23 catches for 559 yards. Clayton leads the league in rushing with 1144 yards.

Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Bernstein takes on the Sheiks. The Dragons' offense has recorded 212 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Hollywood has permitted only 137 on the year.

A big matchup in Central this week will be when Bernstein takes on Jim McElroy IV's team. At the moment, Masaki Matsumoto's team is in first, while the Sheiks are in third.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Dragons take on Hollywood. Bernstein has allowed 142 points this season, while the Sheiks have given up 137. The Dragons allowed 17 points last week as they bested Contreras.

There should be lots of points scored when Bernstein and Hollywood face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Dragons comes in having scored 212 this season, while the Sheiks have scored 200. Bernstein scored 20 points last week as it topped the Cobras.
