Baseball Recap: Utica Chieftains vs. St. Clair Saints
After losing to St. Clair the last time they met, Utica decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Chieftains sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Saints on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Chieftains as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Cole Cubitt tossed a big game, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.
