Baseball Recap: Nipmuc Regional's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Monday just wasn't the day for Nipmuc Regional's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Bristol-Plymouth RVT Craftsmen on Monday. The loss was the Warriors' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Nipmuc Regional fell to 4-1. As for Bristol-Plymouth RVT, the victory (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nipmuc Regional will square off against Hopedale at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 1.2, the Blue Raiders 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Bristol-Plymouth RVT, they will face off against Greater New Bedford RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
