After a string of six wins, Greenville's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Van Vandals by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.
Greenville started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-23, 25-18.
