Football Recap: Jordan Comes Up Short

After soaring to 31 points the game before, Jordan was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were dealt a 42-13 defeat at the hands of the Skyline Eagles.

Although Jordan took the loss, they still got scores from Jersey Alvillar and Gavin Gunnarson.

It was another big night for Xavier Cocci, who threw for 396 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground for Skyline.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Skyline, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Jordan and Skyline will both be playing Cottonwood the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Beetdiggers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
