There's no place like home for Hertford County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Northeastern Eagles on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Eagles back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Hertford County had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 23-25, 25-16, 25-18, 15-8.

Despite the loss, Northeastern still got an impressive performance from Kailey Jones, who had 13 digs.

Hertford County's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Northeastern, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Hertford County will be playing at home against First Flight at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Nighthawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northeastern, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech on the 8th.
