Baseball Game Preview: Ridge View Blazers vs. Blythewood Bengals

Ridge View hasn't had much luck against Blythewood recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Blazers will square off against the Bengals at 6:30 p.m. Ridge View has given up an average of 9.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ridge View is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game last Thursday. They came up short against West Florence, falling 15-0.

Ridge View saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cedric O'Neil, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Blythewood owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They blew past Berkeley 8-0. The result was nothing new for the Bengals, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Blythewood's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Ridge View, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Ridge View suffered a grim 16-0 defeat to Blythewood in their previous matchup back in April of 2022. Can the Blazers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
