Twin Rivers won the last time they faced Kennett and things went their way on Thursday too. The Twin Rivers Royals came out on top against the Kennett Indians by a score of 53-40. The win was nothing new for the Royals as they're now sitting on four straight.

Despite the defeat, Kennett saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alyce Edwards posted 20 points and four steals. The contest was Edwards' 39th in a row with at least ten points. Jayla Ellis was another key player, putting up three points and ten rebounds.

Twin Rivers is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Kennett, their loss ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Twin Rivers will square off against Greenville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kennett, they will take on Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Kennett is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season.
