Football Recap: Chamberlain Skates Past King with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jefferson, Chamberlain was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They really took it to the King Lions for the full four quarters, racking up a 38-0 victory. The matchup marked the Storm's most dominant win of the season.

Chamberlain's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jet Durfee led the charge by throwing for 105 yards and three TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes. Another rusher making a difference was Anthony Ford, who rushed for 59 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

Chamberlain was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 222 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Chamberlain didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Zaevion Everett and Xavier Ether. Ether got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Chamberlain's record is now 6-2. As for King, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Chamberlain wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 39-14 victory against Robinson on the 24th. As for King, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 46-0 defeat against Jefferson on the 24th.
