Basketball Game Preview: Hendersonville Commandos vs. Cookeville Cavaliers

The Hendersonville Commandos will square off against the Cookeville Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hendersonville comes in on three and Cookeville on four.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Hendersonville beat Station Camp 49-45.

Meanwhile, Cookeville faced Pickett County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Cookeville secured a 51-46 W over Pickett County.

Cookeville's win came from a few key players Hendersonville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Macy Hudson, who posted nine points and eight rebounds. Allie Gillies was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Cookeville's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.9 points per game. As for Hendersonville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
