            If Springfield was feeling good  fresh off their  91-38 takedown of Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Springfield Tigers fell  80-73 to the Central Minnesota Christian Bluejays on Friday.

The team also got some help courtesy of  Isaac Fredin, who  went 7 for 8 from beyond the arc on his way to 23 points.
Springfield suffered their first road  defeat, dropping their record down to 19-2. As for Central Minnesota Christian, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 14 of their last 15 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record  this season.

Springfield will  challenge  Madelia  at 7:15  p.m.  on Monday up  91 places (50 vs. 141). Springfield is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last 16 games. Meanwhile,  Central Minnesota Christian (ranked 103rd) will meet Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (ranked 269th)  at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. Springfield is looking to tack on another W to their ten-game streak on the road.
