Softball Recap: Ingram Moore Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Ingram Moore's offense. They lost 14-0 to the Marble Falls Mustangs on Friday. The loss was the Warriors' first of the season.

Ingram Moore saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addy Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Even though they lost, Ingram Moore hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts every time they've taken the field this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ingram Moore fell to 2-1. As for Marble Falls, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Coming up, Ingram Moore will take on Mason in a tournament on Friday. As for Marble Falls, they will square off against Leakey at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
