Baseball Recap: Fairland Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Fairland's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Raceland Rams on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Dragons have suffered since April 20th.

Fairland is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 3.75 runs. As for Raceland, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 25-4.

Coincidentally, Fairland and Raceland will both be playing Montgomery County the next time they take the field. The Dragons will head out to face the Indians at 1:40 p.m. on Saturday, while the Rams will play them later in the day, at 4:20 p.m.
