Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oregon). They never let the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Peyton Soule made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Soule was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Gavin Kupcho was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Elliot Mueller, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Oregon now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Fort Atkinson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Fort Atkinson will venture away from home to face off against Oconomowoc at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oregon will be paying especially close attention to the Blackhawks' game: after the Blackhawks face off against the Raccoons, they'll take on Oregon again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
