Menlo-Atherton had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They came out on top against the KIPP King Lions by a score of 2-0.

Ben Warner paced Menlo-Atherton's offense, picking up nine kills. Warner got some help from Peter Chriss and his 17 assists. Finally, Chriss was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Menlo-Atherton's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for KIPP King, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Coincidentally, Menlo-Atherton and KIPP King will both be playing Galileo the next time they take the court. KIPP King will head out to face Galileo at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Menlo-Atherton will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
