Volleyball Recap: Hampton-Dumont/CAL Comes Up Short

Hampton-Dumont/CAL was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marshalltown Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hampton-Dumont/CAL of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Hampton-Dumont/CAL's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Marshalltown, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.

Hampton-Dumont/CAL has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on the 30th. As for Marshalltown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Gilbert on the 29th.
