Soccer Recap: New Covenant's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Timberlake Christian on Thursday, New Covenant came back down to earth. The Gryphons fell just short of the Blue Ridge Barons by a score of 2-1 on Friday. New Covenant have struggled against Blue Ridge recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

New Covenant's goal came courtesy of Evan Bosak, who's now up to 12 this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, New Covenant fell to 7-1-1. As for Blue Ridge, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Covenant will venture away from home to square off against Hargrave Military Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Covenant will be up against Hargrave Military Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 8.67 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Blue Ridge, they will head out to challenge Fishburne Military at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
