There's no place like home for Palestine-Wheatley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 12-0 margin over the Hazen Hornets on Monday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Patriots' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Palestine-Wheatley let Maddox Hoggatt and Brody Parker run wild. Hoggatt scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-2, while Parker scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. What's more, Hoggatt posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Brant Medford also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Palestine-Wheatley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

With the win, Palestine-Wheatley broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3. As for Hazen, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
