Tonasket has gone 8-2 against Bridgeport recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tonasket Tigers will square off against the Bridgeport Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Tonasket is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Chelan on Thursday. Tonasket took a hard 64-47 fall against Chelan. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Mountain Goats are ranked 34th).

Despite the defeat, Tonasket got top-tier performance from Tanner Tompkins, who went 10 for 16 en route to 25 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks. That was a full 53.2% of Tonasket's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Spangler, who put up eight points and five assists.

Meanwhile, Bridgeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 62-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Manson.

Bridgeport's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Tonasket, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

Tonasket came out on top in a nail-biter against Bridgeport in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, sneaking past 58-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tonasket since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
