Softball Game Preview: Triad Baptist Christian Academy Titans vs. Cramerton Christian Academy Crusaders

The Triad Baptist Christian Academy Titans will square off against the Cramerton Christian Academy Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Triad Baptist Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

Triad Baptist Christian Academy will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Tuesday, then bounced right back against True Gospel Christian on Friday. The Titans blew past the Grizzly 17-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kylee Chan-West made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Chan-West was even better at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

In other batting news, Annabel Chan-West was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Ryleigh Collins, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Triad Baptist Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Cramerton Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-6 to Calvary Christian. That's two games in a row now that the Crusaders have lost by exactly seven runs.

Triad Baptist Christian Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Cramerton Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
