Basketball Recap: Puget Sound Adventist Takes a Loss

Puget Sound Adventist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mesa Grande Academy Cardinals. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Sharks came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 328th in Washington, while the Cardinals are ranked 1185th in California).

Puget Sound Adventist's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Mesa Grande Academy, they pushed their record up to 8-10 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Puget Sound Adventist will head out to square off against Crosspoint Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mesa Grande Academy, they will challenge Redlands Adventist Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
