Soccer Game Preview: Fort Walton Beach vs. Bay

The Fort Walton Beach Vikings will venture away from home to take on the Bay Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fort Walton Beach will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.

On Tuesday, Fort Walton Beach was able to grind out a solid win over Rocky Bayou Christian, taking the game 3-1. That's two games straight that the Vikings have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Bay has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They and Mosley finished up their game with a 1-1 draw on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tornadoes as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Fort Walton Beach now has a winning record of 5-4. Bay's draw gives them a new season record of 0-9-1.

Fort Walton Beach came out on top in a nail-biter against Bay when the teams last played back in November, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fort Walton Beach since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
