Baseball Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for Natick

Natick is still undefeated this season after their contest against Weymouth on Monday, but Weymouth came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Redhawks narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Wildcats 7-5. While the Redhawks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Natick's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average this season. As for Weymouth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Natick and Weymouth will both be playing Wellesley the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Raiders at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Redhawks will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
