Soccer Recap: Currituck County Takes a Loss

Currituck County was the 5-0 winner over Northeastern when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The contest was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Currituck County couldn't quite close it out.

Currituck County now has a losing record of 7-8-2. As for Northeastern, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-7-1.

Currituck County has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech on the 16th. As for Northeastern, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-0 loss against First Flight on the 20th.
