Basketball Game Preview: Hartford Huskies vs. Coloma Comets

The Hartford Huskies will face off against the Coloma Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hartford knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Coloma likes a good challenge.

Hartford saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They blew past Bangor 68-47. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Coloma hadn't done well against Watervliet recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Coloma snuck past Watervliet with a 49-43 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Hartford's record is now 20-2. As for Coloma, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-9.

Hartford came up short against Coloma in their previous matchup back in February of 2017, falling 50-38. Can Hartford avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
