Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roosevelt). They claimed a resounding 63-25 win over the Ravenna Ravens. Given the Rough Riders' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Ravens are ranked 493rd), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Roosevelt has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Ravenna, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Roosevelt will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Crestwood at 7:00 p.m. Crestwood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6 points per game this season. Ravenna will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against McKinley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
