Baseball Recap: Rock Hill Comes Up Short

Rock Hill lost against Indian Land last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rock Hill Bearcats took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indian Land Warriors. The matchup marked the Bearcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Walker Thomason made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. Maddox Farrell also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Rock Hill dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Indian Land, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

While Rock Hill had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
