Soccer Game Preview: Friendship Christian vs. St. John Bosco Academy

The Friendship Christian Spartans will head out to challenge St. John Bosco Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Friendship Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Bible Baptist Christian get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Thursday. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, St. John Bosco Academy entered their tilt with Johnson Ferry Christian Academy on Friday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Saints by a score of 2-0.

Caroline Longe and Amelia Kirk scored both of St. John Bosco Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

St. John Bosco Academy pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those four contests. As for Friendship Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Friendship Christian couldn't quite get it done against St. John Bosco Academy in their previous matchup back in February as they fell 4-2. Can Friendship Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
