Basketball Recap: Dominguez Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

If Dominguez was feeling good fresh off their 66-40 takedown of Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dominguez Dons took a 48-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jordan Beetdiggers. It was the first time this season that the Dons let down their fans at home.

Holden Warnick continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Jordan, almost dropping a double-double on 23 points and nine boards. With that strong performance, Warnick is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. Nate Osborne was another key player, putting up seven points and five steals.

Dominguez's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4. As for Jordan, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.

Dominguez wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-37 loss against Elko on the 19th. As for Jordan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-33 defeat against Desert Oasis on the 19th.
