Recap: Albany vs. Mora
The Albany Huskies shot 68.75% from beyond the arc for 11 threes to get past the Mora Mustangs this past Friday. Albany enjoyed a cozy 70-57 victory over Mora. Mora can consider this payback for the 60-49 loss they dealt the Huskies the last time the teams encountered one another January.
The top scorers for Albany were sophomore Carter Birr (17 points) and junior Nolan Rueter (15 points).
The win bumped Albany's record up to 17-7. Mora's overall record fell to 19-5.
Albany will stay at home against St. Cloud Cathedral Monday. St. Cloud is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 61-59 victory over Little Falls this past Thursday. As for the Mustangs, they will go up against Hinckley-Finlayson Monday. Mora has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
