Recap: St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints vs. St. Albans Bulldogs
The St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They came out on top against St. Albans by a score of 87-80. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Leading St. Stephen's & St. Agnes to victory were Julian Burgdolf and Kyan Bowman. Burgdolf scored 19 points along with three steals, while Bowman dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bowman has scored all season. Cody Gordon was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
St. Stephen's & St. Agnes has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for St. Albans, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4.
St. Stephen's & St. Agnes will head out on the road to challenge Bullis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bullis will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive. St. Albans will take on Landon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Landon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Tuesday.
