Softball Recap: Westlake Falls Short of Mountain Ridge in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Westlake can now relate to. They fell 7-3 to the Mountain Ridge Sentinels on Tuesday. The Thunder haven't had much luck with the Sentinels recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Westlake saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emmri Chuchran, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Westlake's loss dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Mountain Ridge, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-4.

As of now, neither Westlake nor the Sentinels have any future games scheduled.
