Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Clermont Northeastern). They blew past the Georgetown G-Men 13-7 on Monday. The  victory continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the G-Men: they've now won nine in a row.
 Colton Sexton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (and only one walk). Sexton was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with two  RBI. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Brady Schmidt was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with four  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in March.  Hunter Kelley was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Clermont Northeastern  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .615. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Clermont Northeastern's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Georgetown,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Clermont Northeastern is set to  take on  their familiar foe Williamsburg  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Georgetown will  challenge  rival Bethel-Tate  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
