Volleyball Recap: Hun Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

Hun saw some tournament action on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Mount St. Dominic Academy Lions 2-1.

Hun found their leader in sophomore Eva Cannon, who had 31 kills, 15 digs, and three aces. Cannon is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least seven every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Burg, who had nine digs and four blocks.

Hun was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in five consecutive contests.

Hun has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Mount St. Dominic Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Coming up, Hun will challenge West Windsor-Plainsboro North at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount St. Dominic Academy, they will square off against Oak Knoll at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
