It was a good run, but Trinity Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Fayette Academy Vikings by a score of 3-2. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 11-9.

Max Richardson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on six hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Trinity Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cason White, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Trinity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-16-1. As for Fayette Academy, with the win, they broke their 11-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-12.
