Conard barely beat Maloney the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Red Wolves put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 10-4 win on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Red Wolves, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Conard's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Maloney, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conard will welcome E.O. Smith/Tolland at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
