Basketball Recap: Jackson County Takes a Loss

Jackson County lost against Prestonsburg back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Jackson County Generals took a 78-73 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prestonsburg Blackcats. The Generals just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Jackson County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Prestonsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson County and Bell County will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Bell County will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Jackson County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Prestonsburg, they will head out on the road to take on Betsy Layne at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
