Northwest Christian has won three straight games at home, while Quilcene has won three straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Wolverines will welcome the Rangers at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Northwest Christian 3, Quilcene 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Tuesday, Northwest Christian got the win against Evergreen Lutheran by a conclusive 12-5. Considering the Wolverines have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Travis Elmore made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jadon Dillingham, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That double was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Parker Cox, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Northwest Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matches.
Quilcene came out on top against Darrington on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Rangers skirted past the Loggers 7-5.
Like Northwest Christian, Quilcene also got a great game from a two-way player: Eli Allen. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. Allen was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases and one run.
In other batting news, Jayden Minish was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Robert Evans was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Northwest Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Quilcene, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Northwest Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Quilcene struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
