They had to suffer through a 50-8 loss at the hands of the Flowers Jaguars. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now lost four in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Laurel lost, don't look at Nathan Watkins. Despite the final result, he picked up 74 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 54 yards.
